Thursday May 2nd Announcements

1. The CavUnity food drive is well underway keep those donations coming in. Please see posters around the school for more information. We thank you for your support.

2. CavUnity is hosting a field trip to province house and city hall in Halifax on Monday May 27.    The next meeting is Monday May 20, 2024.  Thanks for letting me know.

3. Maritime Business College will be here in the cafetorium on Monday, May 6th at lunchtime to discuss their many programs available and to answer any questions you may have.

4. York University (Ontario) will be visiting our school on Thursday, May 9 at lunchtime.
They will be here to answer any questions you might have about their university and programs.

Check out your graduating class Google classroom for more details.

5. There will be a very important girls basketball meeting in room 102 today at lunch.

6. “Girl’s softball meeting will be at the beginning of lunch in Room 106 (Ms. Maynard’s Room). It will only be 5-10 minutes.”

7. Reminder of the Rugby practice today after school on the turf – both boys and girls.

8. There will be a meeting of girls rugby players Friday at lunch in Room 120.

Your Youth Health Centre (YHC) supports you in making decisions about your health and well being, in a safe environment. The YHC is a partnership between the Halifax Regional School Board and Capital Health. It is staffed by a Public Health professional known as a Youth Health Centre Coordinator.
