1) Alderney Landings Fear the Darkness Haunted House is looking for volunteers (ages 14 and over) immediately.   See sign-up sheet and poster in Library for further details.

3) McPhee Centre for Creative Learning in Dartmouth is offering many exciting programs for students again this fall. If you want to explore your passion for  filmmaking, music, writing, performing, fine arts, and more, be sure to stop by the cafetorium during lunch on Tuesday to speak to Adam about how to get involved in these after school programs.

4) Attention Grade 12 students - a representative from Acadia University will be in the Cafetorium during lunch this Thursday to meet with any students who may wish to attend Acadia after high school. She will be accepting on-the-spot applications and waiving application fees at this time. Please have a transcript ready if you had strong grade 11 marks, and would like to apply early to Acadia University.

5) Student Services will be holding a Grade 12 Assembly in the gym on Wednesday, September 19th during the second period of the day (9:15 - 10:30). I anticipate that once the students get called to the gym and settled into the bleachers, we'll need the remainder of the period for our presentation and questions.  Thanks in advance for releasing your grade 12s that period,
