1) The Prom Committee will be meeting Thursday, Oct. 18th in the Media Room at lunch.

2) All girls interested in playing for the Cole Harbour High varsity basketaball team, there is a sign-up sheet outside of the gym.  All are Welcome!  The first try-out will be this Friday at 2:00 pm in the gym.

3) Attention Grade 12 students: This is an important reminder that NSCC is holding their Open House on Thursday from 9am to 7pm. Please plan to have your application in to them before this date, or plan to attend the Open House to secure a seat in a program of  your choice. Also, Acadia University is hosting an Open House this Friday, Dalhousie and UNB are hosting their Open Houses this Saturday. Check the calendar on the school webpage for details.

4) There will be an information session today for Best Buddies at lunchtime.  Anyone interested, please come by the Media Room next to the cafetorium.

5) The Canadian Armed Forces will be hosting an information session on the Regular Officer Training Plan (Subsidized Education) this Thursday evening at 6pm. The event will take place at the Recruiting Center on Mumford Road in Halifax. This is a great chance to learn all about the ROTP program and how to possibly fund your post-secondary education with the support of the Canadian Armed Forces.

6) There is a We Act meeting today at lunch in Rm 202.
