1) Are you interested in government and want to help affect change?  Apply for the Ombudsman Youth Council.  There is a poster in Library with more information and how to apply.

2) There is a Prom Committee meeting tomorrow at lunch in the Media Room.

3) There will be an Information Meeting for the OSEF European Exchange for students aged 13 to 17 for interested families January 22, at 6pm in the Delta Hotel, 1990 Barrington St. All are welcome.  The European administrator of OSEF will be there to answer questions. The program is approved and authorized by HRCE.  You can pick up an information sheet for the meeting from Student Services.

4) Attention Grade 12 students – this is a reminder that the deadline for the Schulich Leader Scholarship is fast approaching. Students wishing to be considered as our school’s Schulich Leader Nominee must have their resume and application letter in to Student Services by January 21st in order to be considered. Go to the Scholarship page on our school’s website, or stop by Student Services for more information.

5) All dodgeball teams will play today at lunch except The Youngins. Students are required to wear sneakers to play. All spectators will be charged $1.00 for admission.

6) "This is an important annoucement regarding exemptions. Please make sure you see Ms. Stairs in student services (between 7:50am - 11:00am) or in the main office between 11:30am - 2:00pm to apply for an exam exemption. A final exemption list will be posted on January 21st. In order for you to receive an exemption your name must be on the list prior to 2:00pm on January 18th."
