1)   "Hello Cavs, are you interested in playing trading card games like, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon and others? There is no experience required! Join us today at lunch in room 114 (Mr Milnes room).

2) Tomorrow is KD lunch.

3) These are HS student positions available at the N. Preston Community Center.

4) Today is Picture day for anyone that didn’t get their pictures taken first time around and anyone that wishes retakes.

5) Congrats to the boys soccer team on beating Sackville High 6-2 Friday evening. A great effort by all who came to play in the rain, with 2 goals each by Evan Keddy and Ethan Berdan and singles by Ian Boone and Tony Adeoye.

6) There will be a We Act meeting today at lunch in room 202.

7) Did you know over 2 million Canadians voted in advance poles over the weekend for the Federal election?  Do you know the parties, the leaders, the issues?  Who do you support? Why?  This will be your chance to vote for your party this Friday along with over 5000 schools participating nation wide.  See you at the polls!

8) Humans vs Zombies will be taking place this Friday, Oct. 18.  Entry is $10.00, rental is $2.00.


9) Attention Grade 12 students: This is a busy week for post-secondary planning - please listen carefully to the following open house information:

Wednesday October 16th is the deadline to register for St. FX's Open House in Antigonish on Saturday October 19th

Thursday October 17th is NSCC's Open House day - all NSCC campuses will be open to guests from 9am to 7pm and if you apply for a program while you are there, the application fee will be waived. Have a transcript with you to apply on site


Friday October 18th is Open House day at Acadia University in Wolfville and at Mount Allison University in Sackville New Brunswick. Acadia will be waiving application fees at their event if you apply during the Open House; again, have a transcript with you!

Dalhousie University will have a recruiter at our school tomorrow during lunch, and Dal is also hosting an Open House this Saturday October 19th at their Halifax Campus.

The Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine is holding their Open House on Saturday October 19th
