1) Friendly reminder to all EUROPE 2020 participants that a copy of your passport number and picture needs to be passed in by the end of this month in order book flights.  If you do not yet have your passport, please see Mr. Betancourt or Mr. Myatt as soon as possible in rooms 303 or 304.

2) The Halloween Dance will be taking place October 30th from 6:30-9. It is $5 or $4 with a food back donation and you need to bring your student ID. Wearing costumes is encouraged but no fake weapons or masks are allowed.”

3) Attention Grade 12 Students: there are more Post-secondary events coming up this week –

A representative from St. FX University will be in our cafeteria on Thursday during lunch to speak to students interested in learning more about what ST. FX has to offer.

University of Kings College is having their Open House on Friday, and St. Mary’s University is hosting their second Open House on Friday. Have transcripts with you for on the spot applications.  Application fees will be waived at both of these events, but you need to register in advance.

Finally, Dal’s Truro Campus is hosting their Open House this coming Saturday.

4) We Scare Hunger has begun and the We Act club will be holding a food collection to contribute to the local community.  Boxes are set up in the office and in your homerooms.  Please bring in any non-perishable items to donate to Feed Nova Scotia!

5) Elevate Beauty Institute of Cosmetology is holding their 1st Open House this Friday, October 25th from 6 – 8 pm in New Minas.
Anyone who is not able to attend, but would like to book an independent tour can stop by student services for contact information. 

6) Nova Scotia College of Early Childhood Education is having an open house this Friday at 6208 Quinpool Road Halifax at 10:00AM exclusively for high school students. 

7) There is a We Act meeting at lunch today in Rm 202.
