1)  The Shine Club and GSA will be hosting a bake sale and free tea in the cafetorium on Wednesday, Nov. 27th.  All baked goods are 50 cents.

2) Get your leg warmers and scrunchies out because Friday, Nov. 29th  is decade day!  Head to the yoga room at lunch and get footloose with a free 80’s themed sock-hop dance!

3) Winter Coffee House next Thursday December 5th at 6:30.  Brinn your friends and family to enjoy an evening of music and art!  Donations will be accepted at the door with a suggested donation of $2).  Proceeds going towards music and arts programs in our school.  Hope to see you there!

4) The Canadian Blood Services will be coming today at lunch to do a “What’s Your Type event”!  Only students 17 yrs and older can participate.

5) In consideration of the Delf exams, we will be turning the bells off after first period every day this weeks.

6) Attention Grade 12 Students: there are some Universities hosting Information sessions in the Halifax-Dartmouth area this week: Cape Breton University will be at the Courtyard Marriott in Dartmouth on Monday evening, Mt. Allison University will be at the Westin in Halifax on Wednesday and they will be accepting on the spot applications and waiving application fees, and UPEI will be in town on Thursday at the Future Inns Halifax on Bayers Lake. Check the school calendar for details on these evening events. Also, St. Thomas University from Fredericton will be in our school cafetorium on Friday during lunch.

7) A big shout out to Shaquille Beals and Zy Provo as they each received Players of the Game recognition at the Basketball tournament over the weekend.
