1) Ms. McLean will be hosting a lunch time information session today in room 105 on Scholarships/Bursaries and how to fund your post-secondary plans.

2) The cafeteria will be open today from 8:30 – 11:30 and starting tomorrow regular hours will be 8:30 – 12:00.

3) Attention Grade 11 and 12 students: This is a reminder that NSCC’s Virtual Open House, is running till November 26th. Go to nscc.ca/openhouse for details on information sessions and how to register. Or check on our school’s website for individual sessions and their dates. Anyone who registers and attends one of these webinars (with the exception of the How to Apply session) will receive an email from NSCC with a link to a free online application.

4) The Nova Scotia Office of the Ombudsman is adding to the Ombudsman Youth Council as they begin their 3rd year!  The OYC is an initiative that is youth designed, youth led, and offering a platform for youth voice within Nova Scotia.  They are looking for youth ages 12 to 19 who are interested in taking part in this initiative and sharing their thoughts with government. Meetings will be conducted via telecommunications throughout the year. All applications are due by December 31, 2020. Any students who are interested and would like further information on how to apply, please email Ms. McLean.
