1) Today we acknowledge Chadwick Boseman, an actor and playwright, well known for playing Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The movie Black Panther featured an almost entirely black cast and was directed by Marvel’s first black director! Off screen, Chadwick Boseman devoted his time to humanitarian work. He spoke out against racial injustice, worked with several cancer foundations, and made grand donations to hospitals in black communities.

2) IMPROV IMPROV IMPROV.  A reminder that there is IMPROV club afterschool today from 2-3:30 in the Music room.  All are welcome for fun and games.

3) Please check our bulletin board for information on an overnight ecological field expedition for black, indigenous and people of colour students from grades 10-12 in August.  Cost is free.  Put on by BIPOC graduate students from Dalhousie University.

4) Lifetouch are offering to do retakes for grad photos or anyone who missed both and would like them done in our Dartmouth Studio which is located at 900 Windmill Road Unit 102 | Dartmouth, NS B3B 1P7.
Days are:
Feb 13th and 15th  from 9 to 5pm 
Feb 18th from 10 to 7pm
Students  will need to go on our site to book the appointment and choose Halifax studio (it says Halifax even though we are in Dartmouth). They should NOT pick their school! The site is ready to go. The website address is on our schools website under “Whats New” and on our bulletin board

5)  In Girl's Basketball actions last night, our lady CAVS had their first win of the season defeating Islandview 49-28.  Leading the way for Cole Harbour was Julianne Sparks with 17 points, 18 rebounds and London Marinoff chipped in with 15.  Player of the Game was Maggie Lillies who heped with 4 points and 6 steals in her first every basketball game.  Way to go girls!
