1) Today is Purple Day, a global event dedicated to promoting Epilepsy Awareness around the World to dispel myths and fears and reduce social stigma about the condition. A better understanding of Epilepsy will help improve the quality of life of those with Epilepsy.

2) NSSSA registration is extended to today. Contact Hope Macpherson with any questions.

3) MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning is excited to announce their programs for the Spring Term will begin on March 29th and run until June 18th. Many of these programs will be in-person, so register soon to get a spot. There are also some virtual programs being offered. All programs are free of charge and there is a wide variety of programming available, including music production, water colour painting, dungeons & dragons, exploring graphic novels, sewing & fashion, and many more. 4) In girls basketball league play last night, our lady cavs captured the Girls B Tier 2 banner going undefeated with a 6 and O record.
The girls defeated JL Ilsley 68-57.
Leading the way was the ever so dominant London Marinoff with 29 points.
Mon Mon Oliver poured in a wishful bet of 20 pts.
A big shout out goes to Elise "Easy E"  Thompson who scored her first ever points with a silky swish.
Good Job girls - lets bounce back in regionals!!!

There will be a brief girls basketball meeting at lunch in room 102 and a
Shoot-around after school today til 3:30 pm and a mandatory practice on Monday.
