1. The recruitment campaign for the House of Commons Page Program for the 2023-2024 academic year is taking place from September 26 to November 6, 2022.

Each year, they recruit 40 bilingual students graduating from high schools and CEGEPs from across Canada to participate in the House of Commons Page Program. Pages work directly on the floor of the House of Commons and are responsible for a wide range of tasks related to Chamber activities. This provides them with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of Parliament by playing a role in the rich traditions of the Canadian parliamentary system.

2. Are you interested in applying for a job? Not sure where to start? Join us for a resume and job application workshop on Thursday, November 3 at 11:10. Snacks and materials will be provided. Talk to Ellis in room 310 to sign up.

3. Students attending the Women in Technology event at Dalhousie on November 9th should bring their permission slips to Mr. Jean in the main at lunch.

4. Poppies are available by donation at the main office.

5. There will be a boys basketball practice today and Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in our gym.

6.  There will be a girls basketball practice today at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday at 8:00 p.m. in our gym.

7. Tonight the boys volleyball team travel to Sackville High School for a game at 6:00 p.m.

8. The boys volleyball team is reminded to bring in their black and orange jerseys to Mr Sparks and room 102.

9. This week is spirit week.
