Roots of Creation is an emerging collective of Black Nova Scotian theatre artists, educators and community members providing accessible theatre creation and performance programs to youth. With a focus on Black and other IBPoC youth; Roots of Creation strives to provide communities with multidisciplinary arts programs delivered through a collaborative, accessible lens with a focus on decolonization. Delivering an alternative way of learning about self, community and cultural history.

We are planning our inaugural workshop called Planting seeds; which will be a one day workshop geared towards Black Nova Scotian youth ages 13-18, December 30th 2022, 9am-5pm at Neptune Theatre thanks to the Open Spaces program (in association with Prismatic)!

Students interested in the opportunity to participate in the workshop should see Mr. Reddick.
