Once a student has missed more than 6 classes in a single course for any reason or is late more than 6 times for any one course, the exemption is lost for the semester.  When second semester begins, a student once again has an opportunity to retain an exemption. 

In order to exempt the exam in any course a student;

• must be in good standing
• must have a passing mark in all courses
• all major assessments prior to the examination must be completed

The following courses cannot be considered for exemptions:
• All Maths
• All English
• Skilled Trades Program
• O2 Program
• All process based exams
