Attention all Grade 12 Students:  the 2018-19 graduation ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 26th at 6:00 pm  in the school gymnasium.  Please see Ms. Stairs in Student Services to pay your $50 grad fees – CASH only.  If  you have not been sized for your grad gown, see Mr. Stevenson in Rm 314.

2) Are you and your friends interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee?  Sign up for the Leadership Team’s Ultimate Frisbee Tournament will be today at lunch in the Caf.  The tournament itself will take place all next week and Monday of the following week at lunch.  You need 5 members on your team to participate and the cost will be $2 per team member, or $1 to watch the game.  All proceeds go to the Brigadoon Leadership trip in May.

3) CLASS of 2019 VALEDICTORIAN SELECTION MEETING will be held  Monday, April 29th at 10:30 in Room 307. All graduating students interested in becoming this year’s Valedictorian must attend this information session.  If you are interested, but not able to attend, please see Ms. Finnemore.

4) Best Buddies Hooping It Up is today at lunch!  You have 60 seconds to shoot as many baskets as possible.  Admission is $2.00 and you have a chance to win a $20 gift card to Tims!

5) Attention students:  Café 204 is providing you with a delicious lunch on Friday, May 3rd in the green room.  The Menu items are: Pizza Slice $2.50, Garlic Fingers $2.00 Sweet and Sour Meatballs and Rice $4.00

6) “Anyone who is interested in being a Vice President or Secretary for Student Council for the 2019-2020 school, the application forms will be in the office on Monday. forms are due by next Thursday to the main office or handed to Mya Slawter or Carsen Murray.  If you have any questions let them know!”

7) Congratulations to the girls field hockey team who qualified for playoffs with a 10-4 victory over Armbrae Academy.  The CAVS were led by Nele Bostroem with 4 goals, Christina Cowie with 2, Laurel Myers with 2, including a goal of the year candidate!  Singles were scored by Jamie Spicer, and Emily Avery.  Good Work Ladies!!

8) There will be a brief lunch time meeting in Room 303 for all the participants of Europe 2020.  This is the next upcoming fundraising event.  Please be there.

9) Reports cards will be distributed last period today.  Students are to return to their home room at 1:30 to pick up their report cards.  Any students who are on off block are to go to the library to get their report card  also at 1:30.

10) Students participating in the Quebec trip fundraiser are to bring their money and tickets to Madame Cussson asap either in the music room first period or room 201 second period.
