Wednesday April 14th Announcements

1)  IMPROV IMPROV IMPROV.  A reminder that there is IMPROV club afterschool today from 2-3:30 in the Music room.  All are welcome for fun and games.

2) This is a reminder of Our Student Action Committee SHINE’s food pantry for the students here at Cole Harbour High. This is an anonymous system that students can use to get access to food by filling out the request form found on the school website. Remember that all information is confidential and that this pantry is here for everyone!

3) "Hey Cavs, do you want to help make everyone at this school feel welcome? Do you want to create a positive environment for all students?
Best Buddies is recruiting new members every Wednesday at lunch in the Learning Centre.  Be there or be square!"

4) This week is Spirit Week
Today is Dress as a Team/Twin Day/ Bean bag toss in Caf at lunch
Thursday is Crazy Grades Day – Gr. 10 – crazy socks, Gr. 11 – crazy hats, Gr. 12 – crazy sunglasses/Cup stacking in Caf at lunch
Friday is CAVS Colors Day/ Bingo in Caf at lunch

5) United DFC summer soccer registration is now open!  To register visit www.udfc.ca  For more information, see poster on our school bulletin board.

6) A reminder popcorn is for sale at lunch every day for .50 a bag in the main lobby.

Your Youth Health Centre (YHC) supports you in making decisions about your health and well being, in a safe environment. The YHC is a partnership between the Halifax Regional School Board and Capital Health. It is staffed by a Public Health professional known as a Youth Health Centre Coordinator.

The Nova Scotia Homework Hub to support students in grades 9,10, and 11 mathematics is now ready for use!
Enclosed please find information cards to distribute to each student enrolled in a grade 9, 10 or 11 mathematics
course and one poster per mathematics teacher. Additional posters can be displayed in a prominent location. E.g.,
Student Services, school office.
