Friday May 20th Announcements

1) "We are in need of grade 10 and 11 students to volunteer during this year's prom! This is a great opportunity for students to gain CAS hours and volunteer experience. To register, please fill out the google form posted by your teachers in google classroom."

2) Cole Harbour high is looking for any boys or girls in grades 10 and 11 interested in playing soccer next year.  If you are, please put your name on the sign-up sheet outside room 102.

3) "Reminder to all grade 12 students prom tickets Sales will close May 25th. The Prom Committee will be accepting “Cash” purchases for Prom Tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 24 &25.  They will also be passing out the tickets that have been purchased online at the same time.  See Mackenzie Osmond at the main entry.

4) We are selling tickets on a hand made live edge charcuterie board with Cavaliers etched in it.   This would be a great remembrance of Cole Harbour District High or make a great Gift.   These are available at the front desk or in the main lobby over the lunch hour.

5) The final workshop in this year's workshop series will be on Tuesday, May 24 at 11:15 AM. Come learn about how to rent an apartment, and what your rights and responsibilities are as a renter. There will be lots of snacks and this workshop will be in person, not virtual. Stop by the SchoolsPlus room  (310) to sign up!

6) "The Pop-Up Library will be here today at lunch.  You can borrow books, movies, graphic novels, and comics. Everything is free and they will waive any fines you already have.  You do not need a library card to use the Pop-Up Library: they can look up your card or make you a new card.  They will also have free snacks.

7) Miss Shelton will be providing Math 10 support in Room 105 over the lunch period.

Your Youth Health Centre (YHC) supports you in making decisions about your health and well being, in a safe environment. The YHC is a partnership between the Halifax Regional School Board and Capital Health. It is staffed by a Public Health professional known as a Youth Health Centre Coordinator.

Enclosed please find information cards to distribute to each student enrolled in a grade 9, 10 or 11 mathematics
course and one poster per mathematics teacher. Additional posters can be displayed in a prominent location. E.g.,
