Monday December 17th Announcements

1) Attention Grade 12 students: for those of you who have already applied to Dalhousie University, please note their Scholarship Application site is now open and applications need to be submitted by March 1st. Go to your student account as a Dal applicant to get to the General Entrance Award Application link.

2) On Wednesday at lunch there will be a café in the dark room next to the cafetorium. There will be hot chocolate and tea so bring your own reusable mugs or borrow one of ours! Sweet treats will also be sold. All proceeds from this café will be donated to Avalon Youth Health Centre.

3) Could Adam MacDonald please come to the office.

4) There are still photo packages in the office for pick up.

Your Youth Health Centre (YHC) supports you in making decisions about your health and well being, in a safe environment. The YHC is a partnership between the Halifax Regional School Board and Capital Health. It is staffed by a Public Health professional known as a Youth Health Centre Coordinator.

The Nova Scotia Homework Hub to support students in grades 9,10, and 11 mathematics is now ready for use!
Enclosed please find information cards to distribute to each student enrolled in a grade 9, 10 or 11 mathematics
course and one poster per mathematics teacher. Additional posters can be displayed in a prominent location. E.g.,
Student Services, school office.
