1) Today is KD Lunch at the church!

2) There will be GSA meeting today in room 310 at lunch.  All returning and new members welcome.

3) Hey CAVS!  Best Buddies is taking new people!  We are a group within the school that focuses on including everyone.  We want to make sure that everyone, no matter intellectual or physical ability, feels at home.  We spend time building relationships between students of all abilities weekly and planning inclusion based activities as well with the students of the learning centre.  If you would like to be involved this year, please pick up an application form in the office and pass in to the council room any lunch this week, applications are due by Friday the 20th.

4) The Royal Canadian Naval Reserves and the Army Reserves Recruiting Teams are interested in meeting with Grade 10, 11 and 12 students who are considering joining the reserves and who would like to know more about what that entails. If you are interested in meeting with either the Army or the Navy recruiters, you must sign up in Student Services by Friday September 20th. If enough students are interested then arrangements will be made to host these information sessions at the school.

5) A Representative from Acadia University will be on hand in the cafeteria during lunch on Friday to accept applications from Grade 12 students with strong Grade 11 grades for University entrance 2020. Application fees will be waived at this lunchtime session.

6) Could all  grade 12 French Immersion students go to room 201 today at lunch time to see Ms. Cusson.

9) There will be a pep rally during last block today for the Terry Fox Run.  Classes will be called down by Mr. K after the beginning of class.  We ask that classes sit together.
