1) Today is KD Lunch.

2) The Shine Club and GSA will be hosting a bake sale and free tea in the cafetorium today.  All baked goods are 50 cents.

3) Get your leg warmers and scrunchies out because Friday is decade day!  Head to the yoga room at lunch and get footloose with a free 80’s themed sock-hop dance!

4) Winter Coffee House next Thursday December 5th at 6:30.  Bring your friends and family to enjoy an evening of music and art!  Donations will be accepted at the door with a suggested donation of $2).  Proceeds going towards music and arts programs in our school.  Hope to see you there!

5) Attention Grade 12 Students: there are some Universities hosting Information sessions in the Halifax-Dartmouth area this week:   Mt. Allison University will be at the Westin in Halifax tonight and they will be accepting on the spot applications and waiving application fees, and UPEI will be in town on Thursday at the Future Inns Halifax on Bayers Lake. Check the school calendar for details on these evening events. Also, St. Thomas University from Fredericton will be in our school cafetorium on Friday during lunch.

6) There will be a mandatory short student council meeting in the council room at lunch.

7) Congratulations goes out to our girls basketball team who won he first rival split game against Islandview.  The CAVS were padded by Taya Downey with 18 points and Julianne Sparks with 8 steals.  Naiziyah Smith was player of the game.  Next game is tonight at Prince Andrew at 8:00 pm.
