1. Semi-Formal
Mr. Carmichael and Mr. Reddick would like to thank our CHDHS Student Council for organizing another great dance last night.  Also, they would like to thank the staff members who were able to chaperone last night.  It was a fun event for all in attendance last night. Shout out to Makal and Taylor for spinning the tunes last night.

Congratulations to the girls and boys basketball teams for big wins yesterday.  This is our first time hosting a tournament in years and it was great to see students, staff, parents and guardians cheering for our Cavs.  A big thank you to Mr. Spark for organizing the tournament.

2. Tri-Preston Youth Empowerment Kick-Off
For students who live in North Preston, East Preston and Cherrybrook or have connections to those communities, there will be a Youth Empowerment session on Monday, December 19.  This will be an opportunity for students to come together and share their voices about youth programming.  If interested see Mr. Reddick to get information about how to register.

3. If you are looking to apply to St. Mary's University, they will be here today at lunch (10:30am) to help you with early admission applications.
They will waive the application fee (free application) and will have some treats as well.  Session will take place at the back of the library where the computers are.

4. Also two elves are hiding each day this week.  If you find one – go to learning centre for a treat. 

5. Friday is PJ Day and Karaoke at lunch.
