1. Cavaliers are collecting NEW socks, mittens, scarves, etc for people in need.  Please bring your donations to the office.  Thank you – lets “Sock it to Poverty”

2. On Friday, November 17th, representatives from universities across the country will be at our school.  This is your opportunity to visit with and speak to a variety of university representatives from across Canada and learn about the opportunities they have to offer.  They will be available to answer your questions regarding admission requirements, program offerings and other questions you might have.  You will go down with your classroom during that period.  All grade levels are encouraged to attend.

3. The Army Reserves are hosting a Job Fair on Wednesday, November 29th from 9am til noon.  If you are interested in what jobs and opportunities the Army Reserves has for you, and would like to attend their job Fair, please see Ms Barry ASAP, as spots are almost full.  There are paid opportunities beginning in high school, so if you were thinking about the army and would like to find out how you can start earning money one evening a week and weekends, this would be helpful to attend.  Any students that have already signed up please get your permission slips from Ms Barry and have them completed and turned in as soon as possible.

4. On Friday at 10:30 a.m. there will be a meeting of all students writing the University of Waterloo, Mathematics competition in Room 113.  

5. The Library will be closed on Wednesday, November 15 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for Mathematics competition.   Students in NSVS classes on that day should use the cafetorium for their class.

6. There will be a boys basketball practice today at lunch time and room 102. All boys must attend.

At 4:00 p.m. our boys host HCA and their first home league game. We encourage everyone to come and show some support.

8. There will be a mandatory girls basketball practice tonight at 6:00 p.m.
