1. Good luck goes out to our curling and ski team as they have their first competition today.

2. A huge congratulations goes out to our basketball teams as they both will be hosting the double header championship games this Thursday.

The girls defeated Sacred Heart 75 -42. Leading the way was Evie with 27 points.

3. Memorial University including Marine Institute will be in the cafetorium today to share information about programs for their campuses.

4. Also, Mount Saint Vincent University (MSVU) will be in the school to discus their University Programs.

5. The Europe 2024 students will be hosting a bottle drive on February 17th, from 9am to 1pm in the Cole Harbour Highschool Parking Lot
save your recyclables and we will see you there!

6. Each year MADD Halifax hosts a Prom Dress Drive (see bulletin board by cafeteria). This year it will be at Mic Mac Mall. The cost of each dress is $30 and allows a student who may otherwise not have the opportunity to do so, to purchase a gown at a very reasonable price.
This takes place over 2 weekends
Saturday, February 24th and Saturday March 2nd, from 9:30 am to 9 pm and
Sunday, February 25th and Sunday, March 3rd, from noon to 5 pm

7. If there are any students with businesses or who sell things they make, please come to the council room at lunch.
