1. Attention Cole Harbour high,
It is reality.

Our girls and boys basketball teams have captured their respective Division 2 Capital region banners.  The girls,  after being down 14 to 9 stormed back for the convincing win over Sommet 61- 39.

The Lady Cavs were led by Evie Hargraves with 33 pts, 18 rebounds and 7 steals

Both teams quality for next week's province.

Awesome team work and well deserved.

2. Each year MADD Halifax hosts a Prom Dress Drive (see bulletin board by cafeteria). This year it will be at Mic Mac Mall. The cost of each dress is $30 and allows a student who may otherwise not have the opportunity to do so, to purchase a gown at a very reasonable price.  This takes place over 2 weekends Saturday, February 24th and March 3rd.

3. Today after school between 1:45pm-3:15pm the badminton team will host their first tryout. If you are planning to play competitively this year, please come out this afternoon for this tryout.

4. Yesterday, Cole Harbour High competed at the Metro Ski Championships.  While Andria Parrott and Alice Ferrario did not get medals, they did place high on the podium of the fun and friendship Way to go
