1) "There is a meeting of the "Green Team" environmental club at lunch today      in room 114.  If you have an interest in the environment, come join the "Green Team".

2) There is a Prom Committee meeting today in the Media Room.

3) The last day to sign up and pay for the CHH 2019 Dodgeball tournament is today at lunch outside the gym doors. The cost of playing is $2.00. Game play will start this Friday in the gym at lunch and continue next week. All teams will need to be prepared to play tomorrow, sneakers are required to participate. The cost to watch tournament game play is $1.00.

4) The field trip to the law courts will go ahead today so please listen for the announcement at 9:30.  Only students with signed permission slips will be allowed on the bus.

5) Attention Grade 12 students who are planning to study Computer Science at Dalhousie University: Applications to Dal’s 2019 Women in Technology Scholarships and Entrance Scholarships for Computer Science and Applied Computer Science are now open. Deadline for all applications is March 1st. For more information, stop by Student Services or go to the Faculty of Computer Science page on Dal’s website.

6) The deadline for the Kin Canada Scholarship is February 1st. A local representative for this $1,000 Scholarship has offered to come to our school and help students with their applications. He will be here on Wednesday January 16th at 10:30 to work with any students who have signed up for this application support in Student Services. Please sign up by Monday at lunch so we know which students are planning to attend.

7) Any students applying to UBC – this is a reminder that deadline for applications is January 15th.
