1. Cavs, if your looking for a quiet/silent space to prep for your exams during your off block during the next two weeks.  Please feel free to use room 301 during the school day.  This is a quiet prep space for maximum 15 students.  There may be times it won’t be available, but those times will be posted on the door. 

2. 2023 Mascot Showdown Dance Team Auditions that were scheduled for today  have been rescheduled to Feb 2nd.  

3. Friday, January 20 will be our first Equity and Respect t-shirt day of the year.  If over 50% of students and staff wear their t-shirts, the Valentines Dance in February will be free for all students.  If you were not given a T-Shirt give your name to Mrs. Chartrand and she will see about trying to find you one.

4. The deadline for the Schulich Scholarship is fast approaching.
Schulich Leader Scholarships is an award of up to $100,000
The deadline is January 23, 2023 (by 2pm to Student Services to be considered for school nomination)
Student eligibility criteria:
Graduating high school or cégep in Canada in the 2022/2023 academic year
Canadian citizen or permanent resident, Plan to enroll in an eligible STEM program at one of our 20 partner universities and-Meet the following criteria:
Academic excellence, AND
Leadership, charisma and creativity.
Strong consideration will be given to students with financial need.
Be entrepreneurial-minded and intend to pursue a career in one or more of the following focus areas:
Technology;
Engineering;
Entrepreneurship and business enterprise;
Applied scientific research.
