1) Attention Grade 11 and 12 students: NSCC is pleased to announce this year’s Virtual Open House, which will run from November 17th to November 26th. Go to nscc.ca/openhouse for details on information sessions and how to register. Or check on our school’s website for individual sessions and their dates. Anyone who registers and attends one of these webinars (with the exception of the How to Apply session) will receive an email from NSCC with a link to a free online application.

2) Halifax Theatre for Young People’s Reel Teens Video Program will teach youth aged 12-18 about the art and practice of storytelling through media art by producing a 1min video visualizing their original spoken word/theatre piece. They will use their cell phones, ipads, etc to create their own video project either solo or with a group of their peers, friends, and family members.  It will run from December 2020 – March 2021. The program will be delivered online via the Zoom platform, outside of school hours. There is no cost to participate. We encourage all interested youth to apply. We are eager to work with youth from all backgrounds, genders, and communities, and we are eager to ensure that our participants reflect the diversity of our community. 3) Attention Grade 12 students: Ms. McLean's next lunchtime session on how to fund your post-secondary education is postponed from lunch today to NEXT TUESDAY November 24th in Room 105.
