Halloween Cookies on Monday!

1. The recruitment campaign for the House of Commons Page Program for the 2023-2024 academic year is taking place from September 26 to November 6, 2022.  Each year, they recruit 40 bilingual students graduating from high schools and CEGEPs from across Canada to participate in the House of Commons Page Program.  If you are attending a university in Ottawa next year and are interested in this program, please see the posters around the hallway, or Ms. Barry's Twitter feed for more details.

2. The University of Alberta will be in the cafetorium today Thursday, October 27th at lunchtime for any interested students of all grades.  This is your chance to ask them questions, and often times they offer free applications for students looking to apply this year.

3. Buy our cookies to celebrate the spookies! On Monday October 31st the GSA will be hosting a bake sale at lunch outside the cafetorium.
Prices range from seventy five cents to two dollars.  There will also be fifty fifty cent raffle tickets for a cake draw, winner will get a cake made by Cole Harbour High’s very own Co Prez Ava Marie Sampson who will write whatever the winner wants on the cake as long as it’s school appropriate. C’mon on down Halloween Day at lunch for some sweet treats.

4. Are you interested in applying for a job? Not sure where to start? Join us for a resume and job application workshop on Thursday, November 3 at 11:10. Snacks and materials will be provided. Talk to Ellis in room 310 to sign up.

5. In boys soccer action last night the boys lost a tough one to undefeated Grammar school 7-2.  The boys will battle for 3rd place on Friday.

6. There will be a boys basketball practice today at 4 pm.

7. Girls Volleyball lost 3-0 against Sacret Heart.  Player of the game was Regan Inch.
