1. Only a few more days for the Warm Clothes Drive organized by the Shine Committee.

2. Student Council has rescheduled the movie night to Thursday March 2, this week.  6-8:30 – admission is free.  There will be popcorn available for purchase.  All proceeds will be donated to Business is Jammin.  The movie is “Hidden Figures.”

3. This is a message for grade 12 students who plan on attending Dalhousie University in September 2023.  Please pay attention!
We've just found out that for this year only, we have been granted another spot for the Bissett Scholarship.
This is just for this upcoming school year (September 2023).  The Bissett scholarship is for a student attending Dalhousie this September 2023.  Applicants must have applied to Dalhousie University and have a minimum  average of 80% from 5 academic 12 courses, including Grade 12 English (Grade 11 English, if English12 not yet taken).
Have your applications in to Ms Barry today by 1:45pm, to qualify.
Information is on the School Scholarship website, and application can be found on the Class of 2023 Google Classroom and hard copies in Student Services.

5. Tuesday is a big night for Cole Harbour High's Cavprov!  Our improv teams are ranked 1st and 4th going into the provincial final of the Nova Scotia Regional Improv games at Woodlawn High at 7 p.m.  Team Jazzy and the Joes and Team Intrusive Thoughts will be battle it out performing 4 short improv scenes in front of judges and an audience for the Provincial title and the opportunity to represent Atlantic Canada at the Canadian Improv Games. Break a leg Cavaliers! They need fans, come for the teams, stay for the laughter!
