1. Throughout the month of October we recognize and celebrate Mi’kmaq History Month.

2. University lunchtime visits are happening this month:
A representative from:
St. F.X. University- October 18th
St Thomas University is here at lunch on October 19th.
They will be here to answer any questions you may have for them regarding applying and attending their university.  They will be set up in the Cafetorium.  Please stop by and visit them.

Congratulations to Tristen Courtney for placing 7th overall in regionals Cross Country and qualifying for Provincials – way to go Tristen!

3. Spooky Grams are on sale now until October 30th with delivery on Halloween!  Lets keep scaring up good vibes Cavs!

4. Hey CAVS, we are having our first dance of the year next Thursday, October 19th from 6:30 to 9pm. Entrance is free costumes are encouraged.  No masks or weapons – see you there.  Snacks are available for purchase.

5. If your are interested in ordering your photos the due date has been changed to Oct. 23rd.   Picture retakes will be done on Oct. 19th.

6. In boys soccer action last night at Cavs took a hard defeat to Eastern Shore 5 to 1.
Player of the game was Dylan Clelland who played a stellar game in nets.

7. Attention all students that want to play basketball this season, there will be tryouts starting Monday night,
6:00 p.m. for girls -
8:00 p.m. for boys inside our gym.
