1. Throughout the month of October we recognize and celebrate Mi’kmaq History Month.

2. There will be a girl soccer game tonight at 4:00 p.m. at Mic Mac

3. There will be a girls of volleyball practice today at 4:00 p.m. inside the gym

4. They will be a girl's basketball practice today in the gym at 6:00 p.m.

5. There will be a boys basketball practice today at 8:00 p.m. inside the gym

6. There will be a boys soccer game at mainland at 8:00 p.m.  There will be a boys soccer team meeting in Room 101 at lunch.

7. University lunchtime visits are happening this month:
A representative from:
St. F.X. University- Wednesday,  October 18th
St Thomas University is here at lunch on Thursday, October 19th.
They will be here to answer any questions you may have for them regarding applying and attending their university.  They will be set up in the Cafetorium.  Please stop by and visit them.

8. Spooky Grams are on sale now until October 30th with delivery on Halloween!  Let’s keep scaring up good vibes Cavs!

9. Hey CAVS, we are having our first dance of the year next Thursday, October 19th from 6:30 to 9pm. Entrance is free costumes are encouraged.  No masks or weapons – see you there.  Snacks are available for purchase.

10. If you are interested in ordering your photos the due date has been changed to Oct. 23rd.   Picture retakes will be done on Thursday, Oct. 19th.

11. The Prom Committee will be having a bottle drive this Saturday, October 21st from 9a.m. to 1 p.m. in the school lower parking lot.  Drop offs are welcome.  Come out and support the prom and get rid of your recycling at the same time.
