1. Throughout the month of October, we recognize and celebrate Mi’kmaq History Month. 

2. Good morning Cavaliers.

If you are looking for something to do tonight, there are two events going on. First, check out the girls soccer game at 4:00 p.m. at Mic Mac as they try to qualify for provincials.

3. Second, the girls volleyball team will be participating in a mini tournament at Auburn tonight from 6:00 to 10:00.

4. Girls basketball will have an important meeting today at lunch in Mr. Sparks Room 102.

5. There will be a girls basketball practice on Monday at 6:00 p.m. and a boys basketball practice at 8:00 p.m.

6. Spooky Grams are on sale now until October 30th with delivery on Halloween!  Let’s keep scaring up good vibes Cavs!

7. The Prom Committee will be having a bottle drive this Saturday, tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the school lower parking lot.  Drop offs are welcome.  Come out and support the prom and get rid of your recycling at the same time.

8. Equity Team

For students interested in being part our CHDHS Equity Team there will be a meeting next Tuesday, October 24 at lunch.

9. Attention Grade 12 Students  - you can now vote for your prom theme on the Graduating Class of 2024’s Google Classroom.  The code to this google classroom is posted outside the guidance office in the hall.  Make sure to vote before next Thursday, October 26th.

10. Last nights dance -
Big shout out to Student Council and its Events Committee for organizing a successful dance.  All those who were in attendance had a good time.  Good job Cavs.

11. Human’s vs Zombies tonight -  there will be Humans vs Zombies from 6:30-9pm.  Those interested can sign up using the QR code on posters.
