1) There is a GSA Meeting after school today in the Youth Health Centre.

2) Grad Photo Retakes will take place February 21st. See our website for more details.

3) There will be a paint night to support our Prom on Feb. 27th from 6:30 – 9:30 pm.  Fee is $40.  $20 will go towards our Prom.  A signup sheet will be in the office.

4) March 15th is the deadline for NSCC Entrance Awards – any students planning to attend NSCC in September can go to the NSCC website and apply online.

5) The IB students will be offering Math and Physics tutoring in the Media room every Wednesday at lunch.

6) “Feel like being involved in your school community and enjoy planning events? SHINE, the Student Action Committee, is looking for new members. We team up with youth centers, such as Avalon and Macphee, to bring support and resources to our students and help to tackle problems specific to our school such as mental health,  spirit, etc.  If you are interested in being part of Shine, please come join us on Mondays at lunch in the main office”

7) There will be girls rugby practice today and Thursday this week from 4 to 6pm in the gym. All girls who intend on playing are encouraged to attend. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Young in room 317.

8) Attention Grade 12 Students who have applied to St. Mary’s University or who still plan to apply.  A rep from SMU will be in the media room during lunch today with pizza on hand to offer information about applying for scholarships and to do on-the-spot admissions, waiving application fees.
