1. Remembrance Day at Cole Harbour Place
Centennial Legion Branch 160 is looking for a student to participate in the Remembrance Day ceremony at CHP on November 11.  The student would participate by reading a poem entitled “My Friend” and laying a wreath.  If you are interested let Mr. Reddick know.

2. The recruitment campaign for the House of Commons Page Program for the 2023-2024 academic year available until November 6, 2022. If you are attending a university in Ottawa next year and are interested in this program, please see the posters around the hallway, or Ms Barry's Twitter feed for more details.

3. Are you interested in applying for a job? Not sure where to start? Join us for a resume and job application workshop on tomorrow, November 3 at 11:10. Snacks and materials will be provided. Talk to Ellis in room 310 to sign up.

4. St Thomas University will be in the cafetorium on Friday, November 4th at lunchtime for any interested students of all grades.  This is your chance to ask them questions, and often times they offer free applications for students looking to apply this year.

5. Students attending the Women in Technology event at Dalhousie on November 9th should bring their permission slips to Mr. Jean in the main at lunch if you have not already done so.

6. There will be an important Boys soccer practice today after school at Wagner Field.

7. Also in boys soccer news, the boys soccer team play a semi-final provincial qualifier tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. at the Burnside field.     We need everyone to come out and support the team, this is the first step for the boys to reach provincials.

8. Poppies are available by donation at the main office.

9. This week is spirit week.

Friday – PJ Day – Bingo at lunch.

Lunch events during spirit weeks are free come down and enjoy.
