Daily Annoucements June 13, 2025

Graduation is Friday, June 27th at 10a.m. at the school.

  1. Happy Pride! In Canada, June is designated as Pride Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the history and achievements of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This month is a period of celebration and advocacy, commemorating the Stonewall Riots in 1969, which marked a turning point in the fight for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights.
  2. June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada, a time to recognize the rich history, heritage, resilience and diversity of First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
  3. "Yearbooks are expected to arrive by June 20th at the latest. As soon as they’re here, we’ll make an announcement. If they arrive during exam week, be sure to watch for updates on when and how to pick up your copy!"
  4. Graduation Gowns will be passed out during the lunch hour today if you have not received them yet.
  5. "Feeling stressed about exams? Come visit with Franklyn the Therapy Dog! Franklyn will be visiting on Monday, June 16 at lunch time in the media room."
  6. The Grad BBQ is today last period today. Grade 12 students only will be called down during the period after lunch to get their grad gifts and sign their shirts in the cafetorium.   Their will be a BBQ out back afterwards for the grade 12 students.
