• Be on time for class

Cafetorium

• Clean up after yourself

• Use respectful language and tone

• Manage time wisely

• Dispose of trash properly

• Report spills or unsafe behaviour

• Enjoy your food by eating it and dispose of trash properly

Library

• Maintain a quiet environment

• Respect property and others’ space

• Use time productively

• Return books on time

• Use chromebooks and computers for classwork

• Use chairs, outlets, and tech appropriately

• Keep pathways clear

Gym

• Encourage others

• Follow game rules and teacher instructions

• Participate fully to the best of your ability

• Only students scheduled in the gym will be present during instructional time.

• Wear appropriate clothes so that it’s easy to exercise

• Use equipment safely

• Be aware of surroundings during activity 

Stairwells

• Be patient and courteous to others

• Move directly to destination

• Keep to the right

• Hold rails if needed

• Avoid stopping or blocking the stairwell to keep the flow of movement

• Walk when going up or down steps

Washrooms

• Follow proper bathroom procedures to maintain space and proper hygiene

• Respect the space and materials provided for all

• Use the washroom on your floor

• Use your time in the washroom to use the washroom only

• Remember to flush 

• Wash your hands

• Report vandalism

• Allow others to enter and exit freely

• Keep the air clean from fragrances, scents and vapors

Bus

• Respect the driver

• Use appropriate language

• Respect your peers and their personal space

• Stay in your seat

• Keep volume of voice at a level that does not distract the driver

• Keep the air clean of fragrances, scents, and vapors

• Stay inside the bus at all times

• Keep others safe by keeping your body and belongings in your seat 

All Areas

• Respect others

• Use appropriate language

• Respect all school property

• Use appropriate volume for the area (no yelling)

• Know the expectations

• Avoid getting involved in others’ business

• Avoid using social media during instructional time

• Listen to reasonable requests from all adult staff in the building

• Keep the air clean from fragrances, scents, and vapors

• Be mindful of other’s personal space

• Walk to and from locations

 Digital    Spaces

• Use technology for learning, growth, and staying focused on your school work

• Message and comment in ways that are kind, helpful, and appropriate

• Avoid distractions like games, videos, or messaging

• No cell phones during class time

• Return school devices properly

• Only access your own accounts 

• Always log out of your digital device

• Protect passwords and personal information
