  1. CavUnity applications are now officially open, you can apply by scanning the QR code on posters located around the school, using the link on our social media pages or by visiting our website at cavunity.org

    Are you interested in learning more about who we are and what we do? Stay tuned for more information on recruitment sessions and pop up booths at lunch. 

    "Anyone interested in joining the debate club please come to room 304 at lunch this coming Wednesday". 

  2. The GSA is meeting on Friday at lunchtime in room 310 (the schoolsplus room). New members are always welcome!

  3. CAVPROV WANTS U!

    Cavprov is your Improv Theatre Club.

    They do funny stuff together. Once a week afterschool on Wednesdays from 2-3:30. And have a good time. Join them! No experience necessary! Starts Wed Sept 17th!

    WANT TO LEARN HOW TO PAINT TABLETOP MINI’s FOR YOUR GAMES? (PAINT AND MINIS PROVIDED)

  5. CHDHS is a scent aware school. Students who use strong scents in the school will be sent home to keep our staff and students safe. 
  6. School photo date is scheduled for September 16th.  More info to come.
  7. There is a field trip coming up September 18,  for Indigenous students at Cole Harbour. See Kayla our indigenous Support person for more information and a field trip form.
  8. Due to some equipment issues the cafeteria’s food services will not be available until next Tuesday, September 16.  Students should plan to bring lunch until next Tuesday. 
  9. CAVS Cantorum Vocal Ensemble – no audition required.   All levels are welcome – join our non-classical vocal ensemble.  Starting Tuesday after school on the stage.

    Our star - studded baseball team will play an exhibition game against 

    Island View this Saturday 3:30pm at Denis Naugle field in Eastern Passage
