Hey Cavs, today is Pink Out day for breast cancer awareness month! We wear pink to support those who have been affected by breast cancer, a disease that mutates cells in the breast area and forms tumours. Whether survivor or loved one, this disease has a real impact on all those affected. The mortality rate of this disease is 1 in 35 persons infected, and it makes up 13% of female related cancer deaths, and 0.2% of cancer deaths in men.
To help support breast cancer awareness there will be a bake sale in the lobby at lunch, raising money for the breast cancer foundation to support research against this terrible disease, and face paint and glitter in the council room to Pink Out!

Come out next Thursday, October 29th, for the first dance of the year, dress up in your favourite costume, get some photos taken in the 90's photo booth, and walk through our bone chilling haunted house. Remembrance Day Ceremony: Students and Staff interested in being involved in this year's Remembrance Day ceremony should come to a meeting at Lunch in Room 301.
